@timetraveller Good comment, I agree. We need to make people more aware about costs of living ( e.g. in according to growing electricity prices). The more people are aware, the more developers are going to propose such building. I hope so.

It is so sad to hear from a famous seller of "off the shelve house projects" that a passive house costs 30% more than a traditional one.... this is because architects and builders in Poland want to make the quick money on this ! A passive house intelligently built shoulf NOT cost more than 10-15% compared to a soundly built normal house. But architects still design houses in Poland without thinking a second about the future owner, they play with windows and little towers everywhere, do not integrate the most fundamental laws for building a house that is easy to live in and can be heated and cooled with a reasonable budget.Who in the rest of Europe is still building houses that are insulated with 10cm cheap "Styropian" and where the windows are fixed into the wall and not into the insulation layer ??? Generations of young Poles inwest today in new houses that will cost them fortunes to maintain in future. It is time for architects and builders to wake up, learn new techniques, apply passive techniques to their projects. This is no magic, it is called well known and reality-proof technology, applied with easily found materials and common sense and responsibility for future generations !
